Breakfast 20 May 2011

The Networking breakfast held on Friday, 20 May 2011 was sponsored by Woolworths Financial Services and Konrad Adenauer Stiftung and held at The River Club. The Gugulethu Tenors performed and Ruben Richards was the speaker. Ruben is currently Advisor to anti corruption commissions on behalf of agencies linked to the United Nations and MERSETA, also Visiting Professor Wits University Grad School of Public & Development Management. Previously Deputy Director General of the Scorpions, Executive Secretary of the Truth & Reconciliation Commission, CEO Globe Engineering Works, Chairman Cape Shiprepair Initiative, Non Executive Director and Chairman Audit Committee African Cellular Towers, Guest Professor at Albion College, USA, he has a BSc and PhD from UCT, Bachelor of Divinity from Ruschlikon University, Switzerland and a Masters in Theology from Holland University, USA.

His topic was Bullets Or Ballots: The ultimate solution to crime and unemployment in South Africa.
