Topic:  How Engen Petroleum has embraced the Dinokeng Scenarios transformation initiative

Speaker:  Dave Wright, Director of Corporate Planning Engen Petroleum Ltd, previously held other General Manager/Director positions in Engen.  He trained as a chemical engineer and was an academic and researcher at the University of Natal in Durban. He worked for Karbochem running their Process Development group from Sasolburg.  He then joined Engen where he became the Technical Manager before moving into strategy development.

Awarded a SA National Energy Association Education Award in July 2008. He is currently the Chairman for the SA Chapter of the World Petroleum Council. In 2010 he was appointed to the Board and the Executive Committee of the SA National Energy Association.

Annual Ubuntu Gala Dinner 18 July 2011


The annual Ubuntu gala dinner will be held on the 18th of July 2011, at 19:00 for 19:30 and will be hosted at the superb Brio Restaurant in Adderley Street, Cape Town. The evening will be a feast of entertainment and gourmet food with a delicious three course meal. The event pays tribute to the icon of Ubuntu, Nelson Rolihlahla Mandela who’s magnanimous spirit is an inspiration to us all and certainly a life to be celebrated

This event is a favourite on the Ubuntu calendar of events as it truly is an emotionally charged evening of wine, music, song and celebration in the true spirit of Ubuntu. Individual seats R500.00 per person, R5 000 per table of 10 or R7 500 for a table of 12 with front row seating.  Host to RSVP online with guest names.
